This sounds mighty bitter to us. As if there is something wrong with making students of ANYTHING work hard! Also, how exactly do you expect a school to stay in business if they don't charge money? There are some good teachers, and a few good students who come out of there (but that's because they work like dogs), but the administration has been running that school into the ground because the only people who can afford it are those rich, trust fund babies. Also, stay away from the Strausberg Institute. They're only about the money, which doesn't lend itself to creating great art. I've been to several different acting schools here in LA (I grew up here). They use a lot of actors as free performers in their student films (just like all schools do), but never having seen any of the finished projects, we can't pass judgment on the quality of the work done there.
