Please don't be offended, but...before you publicly comment on a site where professionals can read your words, for heaven's sake PROOF READ what you've written. This is full of errors and they make you look...well, I don't want to say. We approved it because it seemed so heartfelt. If English is a second language for you, get someone to help you; if it's your main language, take a remedial writing/reading course. This goes for everyone, by the way. You will be judged on your brains, not just your talent.

Thanks for sharing with those who are just starting out. I am a recent graduate of AMTC, Millie Lewis, Summer 2010 Competiton. It was a wonderful experience and I was encouraged by receiving two awards. One is the Role Model award, the other is Overall Category Finalist - Commercial Model. I would like to know as much as you are willing to share.

I just wanted to add, a very important aspect of Francene that wasn't touched on in this article. As a New Yorker myself, who has been in Francene's studios several times on call, she is also a "hamisha" lady. Translated from New Yorkese, she's a very warm and caring person.

Brief story. As an older (75 YO) P/T newbie actor, I was sitting in Francenes busy waiting room, waiting my turn to go into the studio. She noticed me briefly as she walked into her office. A few moments later, she came out with some children's crayons and a coloring book. She walked over to me, handed me the crayons and book and said "Here, this will keep you busy while you're waiting". I laughed and thanked her for her funny gesture.. And while I didn't get the gig, I do think about her and how she tried to befriend and relax, a novice actor.
